My hair is only 8 inches when pulled straight. Can I donate it to Locks of Love?

I have a court date coming up soon and I am not sure how the judge will react to my long curly hair. I am growing it out because I want to donate it to Locks of Love. My court date will probably be within the next two months and I am not sure if it will be ten inches (the minimum length Locks of Love accepts). I get compliments on my hair daily and would really love for someone else to enjoy that feeling. I have posted two pictures below of my hair now and one picture of how short I am going to cut it.

i cut my hair for locks of love and its has to be at least 10 inches and they put your hair in a briad when cutting itso the braid has to be 10 inches

to donate your hair to "lock of love" it has to be 10 inches.

but you can donate a minimum of 8 inches to "cuts for cancer"

im pretty sure your hair has to be 12 inches. check with your hairstylist

i have donated hair to lock of love about a year ago. you have to donate like at least 10 inches. but your so cute i wouldn't cut your hair

It needs to be at least 10" long. If you can grow it out a little more, it will be going to a great cause. My daughters have both donated their hair several times. Check out the rules for donation here:

It HAS to be 10 inches to give to locks of love....however there is another place that will allow only 8 inches. http://www.beautifullengths.com/en_US/in...

I've done locks of love twice; it's a great thing! Just be sure that it is really 8 inches! Not 7.8, not 7.9....8! They WILL NOT USE IT if it is too short!!!
