Best Highlight colours or colours for Black hair?

Hi, I was thinking to dye my hair or have highlights in my hair, I need to do something about my hair cause its just boring black hair! I will tell you a bit about my hair and skin colour ect..

I'm black, my skin colour is light brown (I'm not dark, I'm real light), I have african black hair. My hair is naturally black/curly/wavy hair, I straighten my hair 2 or 3, 4 times (never relaxed my hair). I have have long hair (my curly hair is up to my boobs so if I straighten it then it will be long). Please tell me the right hair colour or highlights that are great for my hair. And show me pictures so I can understand what colour.

I think you should do a deep blue or red. You may even be able to pull off like a honey brown or a deeper brown.
