i need help, any ideas for school pictures?? i have brown hair, it's short, it looks exactly like nicole ritchie's hair when it was short, but it's a chestnut color. please!!! include pictures of what you think would be the best! thanks!

I'm not going to suggest a particular outfit, but I will tell you that unless you are going to have a class picture taken, just stress about the top. And don't stress that much about the top. All they will know about it is how the neckline looks anyway! Wear something more decent than a T-shirt, but understated and classic (so you don't look down upon yourself in 20 years). A simple necklace may help, too. Wear your hair down, but it's OK to curl or straighten it. Maybe include a clip if you want.

Concentrate on creating a pretty, but natural, make-up look. This picture is all about your face. Try to keep your skin as clear as possible. And don't wear lip gloss. It will overpower the picture.

I can't tell you what to wear...wear what you are comfortable in and represents who you are. Hair colour is not the only determination in what you wear - also consider your complexion and style of make up.

White often works well b/c of the backgrounds and lights photographers use. Be sure you are wrinkle free and that your collar and jewelry are sitting the way you want. Later, when you look at your pic, you are less likely to notice what you wear, but how you wear it. Check gloss, cowlicks, and how your clothes sit on you when you sit down.
