Help:Hairstyles for Course or Kinky Hair??????!! (Revised)?

ok so I'm going into high school and I've had the same hairstyle for 3 years hair in one (Ponytail)...I don't have money to go to the hair dresser so I only have a Flat Iron so I straighten out my hair..and i add just for me texture softener every 8 weeks.

Well if you can't get your hair done at a salon and all you have is a flat iron I don't think there is much you can do.... I was thinking braid extensions would look cute. Is their anyone you know who can do them?
