How can i get my hair like this?

my hair is about that length%26amp;naturally wavy maybe a little shorter in length but not by much. Also the top of her hair...did she brush the hair back at the crown or something? i have a jumbo curling iron already too but the curls from that iron never stay, only if i i use a regular sized one. how do i get them to stay? more hairspray?? thanks! =D

I would use large steam rollers - it's more effective than curling irons and less damage. Steamed hair does not uncurl like ironed until it's wet down, which is such a bonus. It means less hairspray and more bounce!!

I would section out the crown of my head put the hair from it into one large roller, instead of using the roller cap, pin it with a roller clip (the cap can leave a mark on top of your hair). Then put the rest of the hair in curlers - in back use smaller rollers, in the front use large rollers and hold in place with a roller clip.

Wait for 10 - 15 minutes (i do my makeup in this time). Take out all the rollers, brush with a wide comb to make them blend together, you can even use your fingers. Take out the roller at your crown last. Brush the hair nearest the scalp to look straight, and blend it into the rest of the waves in your hair.

Putting a roller on top of your head at the crown creates big volume in itself, but if you'd like more or to perfect a bubbled look, tease at the crown back backcombing underneath the hair, and then smooth over. All of this should give you perfect wavy hair like Vanessa's!

Before you curl your hair straighten it...the curls will stay in...and all she did was comb down the top of hair theres not much to it but I think that with this haristyle a poof would look the best
