Sorry, I don't have a picture. My hair is dark brown, already dyed once. I'm trying to get some streaks that look normal, not overdone, so definitely a darker brown color. Any suggestions?

dont get any pinks or purples or blue, they get ugly looking since they have to bleach your hair and then put it in, they fade in like 5 days. I have really dark brown hair and got black throughout it. i think it looks pretty cool.

OK because your hair is previously coloured dark, you will need a colour correction method! You could either get subtle bleach highlights, as this is the only way you will lighten the hair. YOu cannot lift pre-tinted hair with tint as it defies the colouring theory! (sadly)! So you could get your hairdresser to pre-pig your hair with bleach a nd then put whatever colour you want on top. This is very damaging and id reccomend a semi colour or a quasi colour to add tone instead of highlights/lowlights as the latter is more expensive!
